Quick Cordycep Tutorial
Need to know
For games using anti-cheating Ricochet, Cordycep must be used to extract assets prevent being banned from the game.
Not all CoDs need Cordycep to aid in asset extraction, below is a list of cods currently supported by cordycep:
The Bat file is a way to quickly start preset instructions, you can also choose to enter instructions in the software.

Install
Make sure you're not downloading source code.
Download Cordycep, unzip it.
Download Scylla, put the sylla_x64.dll into the deps folder of Cordycep.
Dump
Things to note
- Before dumping you need to disconnect the network on your computer (ONLY NEED TO DO THIS IN DUMPING PROCESS).
- After that you can resume your internet connection.
- Make sure you are not currently running your game launcher (Steam/Battle.net).
- The process of dumping may need to be redone after a game update.
Make sure you start the Cordycep.CLI.exe in administrator mode.
Check this to find the name of game exe file: Need-to-know
Then type the dump command:
dump "The full path to your game's exe file"
e.g. dump "F:\Call of Duty HQ\cod.exe"
The dump process usually takes less than 20 seconds. When the software shows the dump process has been successful, we can proceed to the next step of use.
If the prompt is failed, we need to try the dump command again until the prompt is successful.
After that you can resume your internet connection and close the Cordycep.
How to use
Check this to find the bat file of your game: Need-to-know
Edit the path in it to the path where your game is located.
With game in CoD HQ, you only need to locate the HQ main path.
e.g. init "F:\Call of Duty HQ"
Next time of using, you just need to start this bat directly
Run bat file to open the Cordycep, waiting for it to initialize.
Then you can type command help to refer to some commands to load game files.
Download Greyhound and unzip it to a place with path in English..
Now you can extract the assets all you need by clicking Load Game and Export in Greyhound!
